Movin' On Up

New school building - UWS whoohoo! Except now it means I've got to take a train to Columbus Circle every day, which is annoying as hell, but whatever, it's nice up there, and the new building [or, as it's referred to by the admin "The New Building"] is ten times nicer than the old one.

Starbucks continues to amaze me - um, the peppermint mocha thing they've got going on for the holidays? Amazing. Starbucks is way cool. Speaking of franchises, I just need to get this out into the world: the Lord and Taylor's Christmas windows leave a lot to be desired. I understand that this year they're trying to be like Saks or Bergdorf's, classy like that, but there's just something missing...it all looks a little sterile, a little too thought out, and that music is a tad on the cheesy side.
