What?!?

I never in my wildest dreams thought that this day would come: Starbucks has failed me. Here's the deal - today, before going to see The Phantom Of The Opera, my friend decided to grab a coffee at, where else, Starbucks. She wanted to purchase that coffee with her Starbucks giftcard. The Starbucks wouldn't accept it. They said that they just didn't accept Starbucks giftcards. Am I missing something? They are a Starbucks, correct? It's not like she tried using her Starbucks card at a Guy and Gallard by mistake and was told that it couldn't be accepted. She merely wanted to use her Starbucks giftcard at a Starbucks. It was so ridiculous, and I can't stop thinking about it. Although I had a grande low-fat no whip cinnamon dolce latte today, and it was kind of like the milk at the bottom of a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch just warmed up - in other words, it was delicious!

And The Phantom was very good, for all those who were curious, even with the annoyance of the man sitting next to me who, no joke, fell asleep multiple times throughout the show and snored rather loudly. It was a movie moment, but it was happening in real time. Welcome to my life. And although I had the strongest urge to elbow him really hard in his very round stomach, I decided that it would be unladylike to do so. So I refrained. And it probably would have been really gross to touch his stomach, too, even if it was just with my elbow.
